# ipa-hub service

Manage the globally installed background service.

## Usage

```shell
ipa-hub service <command> [options]
```

## Commands

| [`ipa-hub service manager`](https://ipa-hub.giladgd.com/docs/cli/service/manager.md) | Install App Manager (ipa-hub on the Home Screen) on an iPhone or iPad. |
| [`ipa-hub service uninstall`](https://ipa-hub.giladgd.com/docs/cli/service/uninstall.md) | Remove the service, retaining app records and downloads. |
| [`ipa-hub service start`](https://ipa-hub.giladgd.com/docs/cli/service/start.md) | Start the installed service. |
| [`ipa-hub service stop`](https://ipa-hub.giladgd.com/docs/cli/service/stop.md) | Stop the service until the next login or explicit start. |

## Options

| Option | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--data-dir PATH` | Directory for downloads, app records, and server state. Defaults to `~/.ipa-hub`; the `IPA_HUB_HOME` environment variable sets an alternative default. `(string)` |
| `--json` | Print results as JSON `(boolean)` |
| `-h`, `--help` | Show help for this command `(boolean)` |
| `-v`, `--version` | Show the installed version `(boolean)` |
